No one said “winter is here” better than a dry pair of lips, right? Those from the North, please disregard. Well, I can honestly tell you that the arrival of my Bite Beauty Agave Lip Care products could not have been more timely.
It seems like dry, flaky lips are one of the first signals that I’m not drinking enough water in the colder months. And all Game of Thrones references aside (I promise I won’t make any more in this post!), I can thank Bite Beauty and their lineup of Agave lip care products to tide me over and bring my dull, dry lips back to life again!

Bite Beauty Agave + Lip Tint Tin
Bite Beauty’s Agave+ Lip Tint Tins are currently available in the cutest limited edition packaging. Featuring apropos cactus and agave artworks on the lid, the 5 color range surely has something for everyone.
I sampled the Lip Tint Tin in Smashed (a very sheer, lip flush pinky/red tone) and Bramble (a cooler toned berry tint).
Bramble is my pick for color as my complexion lends itself to a cooler-toned lip tint. Incidentally, the two colors I chose for myself are the two non-shimmer products of the 5.
The three remaining tones are:
- Swizzle (peachy, pink)
- Buzzed (champagne gold)
- Highball (warm cocoa tone)
They all have a shimmer reflect in their texture. So if that’s what you are going for, then definitely start there in your color choices.
The lip tint goes on as smooth as butter and feels creamy on the lips without being overly thick or sticky.
I see this product easily becoming a staple in my lip care. It’s easy to apply and has just enough pigment to give you a hint of color without being a full-on lipstick application.
There is something to be said for being able to rely on a lip product you can apply without the luxury of a mirror!! And Bite Beauty’s Agave +Lip Tint Tin ticks all the boxes for reliability in the blind application for me.
In line with Bite Beauty’s clean beauty mantra, the Lip Tint Tin is vegan, cruelty-free and lanolin free.
It also contains Agave Nectar to nurture lips and cocoa butter to help soothe and nourish even the driest lips!

Bite Beauty Intensive Lip Mask
I’m a big fan of a lip treatment that you can wear all day and nobody even notices!
It’s currently available in two colors: Agave (clear) and Buzzed (rose gold pearl)
The Intensive Lip Mask comes in a pocket-sized tube and definitely feels way stickier on the finger than it does on your lips (phew – there is nothing more loathsome than an overly sticky lip mask, don’t you think?)
Like the Lip Tint Tins I have already mentioned, the Lip Mask too, has a very understated flavor this is both pleasant and not in any way over powering.
Bite Beauty states that they aim to use naturally derived scents and strive for the usage of less than 1% of synthetic fragrance in their products.
The Lip Mask has a yummy and yes, subtle orange/vanilla taste that I love!

- Mangosteen Extract which is anti-oxidant rich and will moisturize lips
- Açai to give anti-oxidant support to lips
- Oat Flour to soothe and cushion lips

Bite Beauty Weekly Lip Scrub
As Bite Beauty states, when informing us about their Weekly Scrub, it acts as a 3 in 1. Cleansing, exfoliating AND conditioning.
The Weekly Lip Scrub tastes so good, I almost want to eat it!
I love their scrub because Bite Beauty suggests you can use it to help remove lip color!
Why didn’t I think of that?
You know, those times when you wear a highly pigmented lipstick that won’t budge when you’re removing your makeup? The idea of using a lip care product to remove your lipstick makes sense!
Ingredients:

- Fair Trade Organic Golden Sugar to exfoliate dry, flaky lips
- Papaya Enzymes work as an enzymatic exfoliant and break down skin
- Plant-derived Squalane to mimic your skin’s own moisture and add hydration

Bite Beauty Nighttime Lip Therapy
Bite Beauty recommends a pairing of the Nighttime Lip Therapy Balm with the Weekly Scrub and I agree entirely. If you are having nay kind of dry lip or flaky lip issue at all, these two products are an absolute must-have!
This is a solid to oil product, so when you apply it, you literally feel it melt into your lips. And then it’ll do all the hard work while you sleep.
Ingredients:
- Bite Beauty’s signature Agave Nectar to soothe and nurture (do you see a pattern forming here?)
- Pomegranate Extract to give your lips a boost of anti-oxidants
- Safflower, Sunflower, and Jojoba Seed Oils to create a liquid-smooth texture and provide and lock in moisture overnight

Bite Beauty Daytime Lip Balm
There’s no denying that 2020 was not lipstick’s best year. But I must admit, that I have probably bought and used more lip balm than many years prior.
Having only recently sampled the Bite Beauty Daytime Lip Balm, I have to say, I like it a lot so far.
In a standard lipstick-style applicator, the clear balm goes on with ease and stays on.
Again, working hard to nourish and hydrate your lips so you don’t even have to think about it.
Ingredients:
- Agave Nectar to nurture and soothe
- Mongongo Oil which comes from a desert tree full of vitamin E and Omega 6 acids to heal and tend to your lips as if they were indeed lost in the desert!
- Cocoa Butter to keep your lips supple and hydrated
Yet another high-quality vegan, lanolin-free and highly moisturizing lip balm that heals your poor, dry lips. Once you apply it, you’ll just want to keep re-applying it, cause it feels so good on!
