The Benefits Within Egyptian Magic’s Natural Ingredients
Olive Oil
Olive Oil contains Vitamin E among other vitamins. It is also known to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects on the skin.
It is also non-comedogenic, so will not cause breakouts.
Fun fact – Olive Oil contains squalane! And if you don’t know about the benefits of plant-derived squalene, then you should find them out here.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil is also known for its anti-fungal properties when used topically.
It can also help give your skin a subtle glow.
Beeswax
Like Olive Oil, beeswax is synonymous with anti-inflammatory benefits. It is a humectant.
Beeswax contains anti-oxidants that can help to protect your skin from free radicals. And beeswax is also invaluable as a calming, soothing ingredient in skincare products to relieve redness, irritation, and dry skin.
Honey
Honey in skincare is associated with being able to fight skin infections. The Manuka Honey, native to New Zealand is particularly well-known for its skin-healing qualities.
Bee Pollen
Bee Pollen is known to have protective effects on the skin against dryness and aging. And it can generally have a rejuvenating effect on the skin.
Royal Jelly
Royal Jelly is used in skin care to aid in healing the skin. Like many of its ingredient neighbors in Egyptian Magic cream, it is anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-aging, anti-everything!
Royal Jelly also contains sun-protection qualities.
The royal jelly works in upping the skin’s production of collagen. It can be utilized in reducing the appearance of acne, acne scars, blackheads, and scars in general for your skin as well.
Propolis
Rounding up the very small ingredient list is the final bee-product – propolis.
If you’re not familiar with bee propolis, well, there’s no better time than right now!
Propolis is a combination of beeswax and bee saliva that is mixed with plant and tree compounds from where the material originates.
Some view propolis as something of a wonder-ingredient and anti-aging miracle cure for the skin.
I once worked with a very well-respected actress whose skin reacted to everything and anything in the makeup and skincare realm. It was a massive challenge putting on a large silicon prosthetic appliance all over her and trying not to use any adhesive!
Well, this actress swore by propolis and introduced me to its capabilities many years ago.
Propolis is anti-fungal, anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-oxidant and as I mentioned, the all-important anti-aging to make up the big 5 antis!

How to Use Egyptian Magic Skin Cream
When you open the jar, Egyptian Magic looks like a solid balm inside. Its transformation into a liquid in your palms makes it very easy to use and quick working on your skin as well.
Scoop out as much or as little as needed.
Rub into the palms of your hands to warm it up.
Egyptian Magic will then become a smooth, oil-like consistency with the warmth of your hands.
Then use it wherever you need it!
Voila!

A Word to the Wise
I wanted to mention that in researching Egyptian Magic, I actually did small trials with numerous friends, colleagues, willing human lab rats.
And we did experience one individual in my group react to something in the cream.
Royal Jelly does seem to cause reactions in some people.
So as always, when trying new products, sample a small amount on your inner arm or wrist and note if there is any redness or reactions. Highly unlikely, but it has been documented, so is well worth mentioning.
And of course, if you react to anything you put on your skin, stop using it immediately!
When researching this blog post, I read a quote that went along the lines of Egyptian Magic treating everything but the kitchen sink.
I think that statement can be seen as true, in some ways.
