Sometimes it’s dehydration. Other times it’s seasonal. Whether it’s just due to being indoors so much lately, I’m always on the search for new products and solutions to this ailment.

Silicon Exfoliating Lip Brush
At first glance, this Lip Exfoliating Brush looks a bit like a toothbrush. It’s double-sided. And helps in removing dead skin from your dry lips. I have used it with both a standard lip balm and a lip scrub for a more assertive exfoliation. You can even use it without any product if you’re in a pinch. Feels great and leaves lips ready for a lip masque treatment or nice balm.
Burt’s Bees Moisturizing Lip Balm
My old faithful Burt’s Bees Lip Balm. My favourite ‘flavour’ is Pomegranate. But there are plenty of different scents for everyone. It feels great, has a very slight tint and is almost non-glossy for everyday wear.
The Eminence Lip Trio
This is an excellent set from Eminence – three delicious products as a luxurious and perfect home treatment. Step 1 is the Citrus Enzyme Lip Exfoliator. This would pair perfectly with the silicon exfoliating brush I mentioned above. Step 2 is the Lip Comfort and Plumping Masque. The final step is the Citrus Lip Balm. I recommend this trio all the time to people who need a little attention in the lip area. It’s also a great treatment to do at home for yourself without being a full facial production!
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
A brilliant addition to your home skincare cabinet too. Original Berry is my favourite shade! Coat your lips with this smooth and rich masque before bed. Leave on for a lovely overnight treatment. There is nothing to stop you from using it during the day (I do!) Seek out the Sample Size pots which are great to carry in your purse.
There are so many wonderful lip balms, butters, salves and masques on the market. This is just my current shortlist.
